march 31 update

1. What did you accomplish this week? This week I planned out some healthy meals I can eat and what foods I can't eat. 2. What are you working on right now? Right now I am starting my week of no sweets and I am filming the process while also writing down how I feel and if it's different than normal. 3. What do you plan to do next? Next I plan to put all the video clips together and start the power point part of my project with how I felt about the experience and if i accomplished my goal.

March 24 Update

So far for this project, I have picked out the week that I want to cut out sweets. I plan to do this challenge the week of March 29- April 4. I also have decided how I am going to present this project by taking update videos throughout the week and also keeping blog posts on how I feel and how I'm affected. My project has been slightly impacted by the COVID epidemic because I am limited to when we can go to the store and a lot of items are not in stock. However for the most part I can still do everything I was planning to do. I also will have to use my family as my resources for how my mood has changed, for they are the only people I see. Those are the only real adjustments, and I am still on track to start next week.

Elevator Pitch

Commonly in America, we have a diet based on unhealthy foods that are quick and convent to fit our schedule's. My goal in this project is to see how positively changing your diet can affect your mood and your lifestyle. I also want to try and help give easy ideas for a healthy alternative to some common junk foods.  Failing to complete this would show that keeping a healthy diet is really hard to do, and might discourage people from trying to eat healthier.  My goal is accomplishable if I put in time to plan and be aware of the foods I'm eating. While I am drastically changing my diet, there are also ways to gradually start eating more healthy foods.  My project helps solve the problem of the average American's unhealthy lifestyle. To show that a busy high schooler can do it, might encourage people to do the same and think about what they eat in a day.  I am a good person to do this project as my diet ref...

20 Time Proposal

Sydney Walsh 20 Time Proposal: A Week Without Sweets Trying to cut sugar out of my diet for a week Needs and Opportunities How much sugar do you eat in a day? For me, I eat a lot of foods that I don't even realize have sugar sometimes. The experience I am looking to have through this project is to see if I can change what I eat drastically. I want to watch how it affects my mood, my appearance, and my lifestyle by trying to eat healthier and completely change my diet.      Audience / Clients / Users My project is trying to reach busy teens who also have bad eating habits. To give helpful tips on how to stay healthier while still living in our busy lives. I also want this to teach myself how to adjust what I eat and to break my habit of eating junk food. Timeline By March 15 I will … Have the meals and grocery list planned out for the week I decide to diet. Figure out what foods I can and cannot eat. ____________________________________________________...
